Talley Tactical Rings

Nightforce scopes have an incredible reputation, but even a scope that costs two grand is worthless on a weak foundation. Talley rings and bases have a good reputation, but until now Talley has catered mostly to hunters. The company's new Tactical rings are made from a combination of 7000 Series Alloy and 303 Stainless Steel. They don't just fit a Picatinny rail, they bite it like a werewolf.

The big Nightforce scope I used on the Les Baer Custom Tactical Recon weighed 32 ounces. That's two pounds. It takes serious rings to hold a scope like this zeroed for 300 rounds after being subjected to an unknown number of baggage handlers on two coast-to-coast airplane trips. They also looked good on the rifle and the crossed bones on the bottom of the rings are a cool touch. Contact Talley Manufacturing: (803) 854-5700.
