The .380 ACP cartridge, which in the past was considered a less-than-ideal round for personal protection, has taken on a new life. DoubleTap ammunition has stepped up and is offering a very good bullet for this cartridge. Barnes TAC-XP bullets provide wide expansion, but still penetrate deep because they retain all their weight. This should make a very good personal-defense load for the little .380.
