Shooting Illustrated is proud to be a premier sponsor of the first-ever National Rifle Association Personal Protection Expo, taking place in Milwaukee, WI, Aug. 25 through 27, 2017.

The NRA Personal Protection Expo covers three days of education and interaction between members looking to build their knowledge of personal-protection skills and gear. The event will provide concerned citizens with knowledge of products, training and mindset to prepare and defend themselves and their families from threats.

The event will include a number of seminars and workshops led by personal-defense experts and instructors. Seminar topics will include methods and tactics of concealed carry, holster selection and women's-only offerings. The sessions will also include education on situational awareness, self-defense product selection, building personal-protection skills and controlling threats. The seminars will also feature home-defense topics such as creating a home-defense plan, preventative measures and how to respond to intruders.

In addition to the seminars, the Expo will also feature an exhibit hall featuring concealed-carry and personal-protection-oriented firearms and accessories from the biggest names in the industry, as well as concealment and other tactical gear. Special events will also include a live-modeling session showing off the latest concealment gear available from the industry.
