Now packaged in a convenient, 4-oz squeeze bottle, DuPont Teflon Penetrant breaks rust and protects metal surfaces. It is formulated for components that require long-term lubrication and rust prevention.

DuPont Teflon Penetrant is a silicone-free, low odor lubricant. It can be used on hunting guns or bows without repelling game and will not leave a strong odor in firearm safes or knife cases.

With its penetrating properties, surface rust and gunpowder residue are easily cleaned from firing pins, cocking, triggers and internal parts, preserving gun performance and value. The 4oz squeeze bottle's precision tip ensures mess-free application, preventing over-lubrication, and preserving firearm reliability without damaging the finish.

To break rust, saturate the area and wait three-to-five minutes before rubbing gently, in a circular motion, with a piece of steel wool. Once clean, apply a moderate, final coat to prevent additional dirt, grime and rust from forming.

Available at Lowes and other home improvement centers nationwide, the MSRP is: $3.99.
