CCI Ammunition has launched a total of 14 new offerings in more than 12 product lines at the 2020 SHOT Show. “We have more than doubled the number of new products than what we did last year,” said CCI Product Director Rick Stoeckel. “We are excited to introduce these new products for rimfire shooters and hunters. New product highlights include new additions to our popular Clean-22 lineup and several loads now packaged in easy-to-pour, bulk-pack cartons. We know our customers will be pleased with all of the many new options.”

For those who like things tidy and quiet, the company’s new Clean-22 Suppressor 22 LR will be of interest. Its advanced polymer 45-grain bullet coating reduces lead fouling inside a suppressor by 50 percent, reducing cleaning and maintenance. These are available in 200-count, easy-to-pour bulk packs.

The company hasn’t forgotten those who’ve yet to get a tax stamp and can. Clean-22’s exclusive polymer bullet coating greatly reduces copper and lead fouling in the barrel—without leaving a residue—but this year it’s also available in a special-edition package promoting United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Steel Challenge competitions. The Steel Challenge logo is featured on every box.

We’re not saying it’s the ideal solution for everyone’s self-defense, but we all know someone who carries a Magnum rimfire. Their choice in loads increases this year with the addition of CCI Clean-22 Segmented Hollow Point .22 WMR 46-grain ammo. The bullet splits into three equal-size pieces on impact. Its polymer coating allows this separation at much lower velocities and longer distances.

There’s Special-edition “Stangers” this year, Stinger ammunition named for trick-shooting 22plinkster’s signature drawl on YouTube. Like the original, their 32-grain copper-plated hollow-point bullet leaves the muzzle with real “twang” at 1,640 fps.
