Chambered in 9mm with a 15+1 capacity, the STR-9 features a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish, interchangeable backstrap grips for an optimal fit and 4.17-inch barrel for easy concealment and quick deployment. The STR-9 is 7.44 inches long and has an unloaded weight of 1.5 pounds.
Built with front and back slide serrations to provide a firm grasp on the pistol with or without gloves, the STR-9 also has a smooth-pulling, crisp trigger that houses an internal safety for extra security. Underneath the slide is an accessory rail which accepts a wide variety of pistol and laser lights to upgrade and expand the usefulness of the pistol. The grip angle on the gun is designed to allow for a comfortable grip and fast target acquisition, and the magazine release is reversible to accommodate both right and left-handed shooters.
The STR-9 has a low bore axis that allows for a reduced muzzle flip and ships with 3 dot sights. Tritium nights are an available upgrade. With an MSRP starting at $349 and a five-year warranty, the new STR-9 is sure to continue Stoeger’s legacy of building firearms that combine outstanding performance with reasonable prices.
