Springfield Armory is rolling out a new line of M-Lok compatible Saint rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO, featuring a new, slim Bravo Company M-Lok compatible handguard, along with an internal aluminum heat shield.

Saint rifles now come in two configurations: One which features a pinned, Picatinny railed gas block and low-profile flip-up front sight, and another which has an A2-style front sight and pinned gas block. Each M-Lok compatible Saint model also includes a low-profile, dual aperture flip-up rear sight that has ½ minute of angle windage adjustments.

The beating heart of these rifles is an M16 bolt-carrier group, which feature a Carpenter 158 steel bolt that has been shot-peened and magnetic particle tested to meet or exceed the toughest durability requirements. The 16-inch barrel on these new rifles has a 1:8-inch twist rate and is made of chrome-moly vanadium steel and is Melonite-treated inside and out for long life and improved corrosion resistance.

Weighing in at a lightweight 6.11 ounces, the Saint family of rifles also feature an upgraded trigger as standard equipment.  The nickel boron-coated GI single-stage trigger operates smoothly and provides a clean, smooth pull. The M-Lok compatible Saint rifles also use a mid-length gas system with an “H” heavy tungsten buffer, designed to mitigate recoil and provide an accurate and comfortable shooting experience. The Accu-Tite tension system means you have a tight, wobble-free fit between the upper and lower receivers, both of which are built from Type III hard anodized aircraft-grade 7075 T6 aluminum.

The M-Lok compatible Saint rifles, in addition to the handguard, also include quality furniture from Bravo Company, including the upgraded BCM Gunfighter stock, the Mod 3 pistol grip and the BCM trigger guard. All of these rifle ship with one 30-round Magpul PMag.

The new M-Lok compatible Saint rifles are also available with a Strike Industries featureless grip, Magpul MOE fixed carbine stock and SA muzzle brake, creating a California-compliant option, which ships with one 10-round Magpul PMag magazine.

MSRP on these new rifles is $972, and more information is available at springfield-armory.com.
