Faxon Firearms is known for making quality components for rifle and pistol components, and the company offered several rifle designs over the past few years, including the unique ARAK-21. However, the company's complete firearm offerings were limited to the rifle world. However, all that changed in 2019, because the company is now rolling out a new 9 mm carry pistol: the FX-19.
These FX-19 pistols will be available in two models: the Patriot, with an MSRP of $1,299.99 and the Hellfire with an MSRP of $1,499.99. Both the Patriot and Hellfire are available with DLC-coated slides, which are machined in-house from 17-4 stainless steel and uses Faxon’s proven Match Series pistol barrels. The slides on both pistols also feature optic cuts for mounting Trijicon RMR and Holosun 507C red-dot sights.
The frame on the FX-19 uses a 1911-style grip angle and has a custom grip texture, along with a double-undercut trigger guard, and extended beavertail for improved recoil control. The frame also features a full Picatinny rail for weapon-mounted lights. Both pistol models include an extended magazine release, an Overwatch Precision flat-faced trigger, and one G19 magazine.
The Hellfire ships with one Glock G19-style magazine with a Faxon +5 magazine extension. The Patriot ships with one 15-round Glock G19 magazine. Both pistols ship in a TSA-approved, hard-sided case, and all FX-19 pistols accept Glock aftermarket parts, accessories and magazines.
