Designed for tactical and competition use, the new FIME Group Rex Alpha 9 is the next stage of evolution in the Rex family of handguns. The new pistol is the result of recommendations and guidance offered by competitive shooters, giving consumers a purpose-built handgun ready for the range or personal defense.

Ease of shooting was priority No. 1 for the Rex Alpha 9, and the company built the gun with a frame made from nitrocarburized steel, paired with an all-steel slide. The slide features a number of weight-reducing cuts that enable the slide to cycle faster, while the overall weight of the gun allows shooters to get back on target quickly and easily.

The frame also features key redesigns in several areas, giving shooters a higher grip and an undercut trigger guard that shortens the distance to the trigger and allows the pistol to sit lower in the shooter's hand. The higher grip is combined with an enhanced beavertail that protects users from the external hammer featured on the Rex Alpha.

Other enhancements on the FIME Group Rex Alpha 9 can be found internally. The company features a refined, smooth, double-action trigger pull paired with a short trigger reset for quick follow-up shots necessary for competition use. In addition, the gun also includes an ambidextrous manual safety, aggressive front strap checkering for added grip, and an extended magazine-release button.

At the top of the gun, consumers will find a fiber-optic front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight, ensuring that users can get on target easily. The pistol is also equipped with a flared magazine well to speed up reloads, and the Rex Alpha is compatible with all Rex Zero 1 pistol magazines.

The overall length of the gun is 8.9 inches, height measures 6.1 inches and the grip is 1.65 inches at its widest point. Barrel length measures 5 inches, and the overall unloaded weight of the pistol is 39 ounces. The pistol features an integrated frame rail for light and laser accessories and comes with a 20-round magazine.
