First Shots: Stoeger STR-9 With Meprolight Sights

New color choices and new sight options for Stoeger's STR-9.

Stoeger is rolling out new color choices for standard-sized 9mm pistols in the STR-9 line. Your choice in defensive pistols says a lot about you, and with these new color options, you can take both style and practical considerations when choosing a gun. There are four new color configurations to choose from, including OD (Olive Drab) Green Cerakote, FDE (Flat Dark Earth) Cerakote, and Tungsten Cerakote, and all of them have contrasting black accents via the backstrap, magazine floor plate, barrel, and controls. In addition to this, there is an option for a FDE/black Distressed Cerakote STR-9.

In addition to these new color choices, the STR-9 in Cerakote Tungsten comes with Meprolight’s Hyperbright sight system. All other models include Stoeger’s quick-read three-dot sights.

The STR-9 is Stoeger’s mid-size polymer-frame, striker-fired 9mm. These handguns are noted for their exceptional reliability and accuracy, as well as their enhanced ergonomics. Interchangeable backstraps for a customized fit, aggressive stippling and finger grooves for a secure, no-slip hold, crisp trigger system, undercut trigger guard, and user-friendly controls all contribute to a firearm that is ideally suited for both everyday carry and concealed carry.

Offered with either 15- or 10-round magazines, the STR-9 delivers the performance you can count on and now in colors that deliver greater aesthetic appeal and quick identification.
