The aluminum housing encloses a 23x18 mm lens that provides a wide field-of-view, enabling users to quickly and easily get on target. Paired with the dot sight is a versatile base compatible with both Glock MOS and Smith & Wesson M&P C.O.R.E. mounting plates. This setup allows the sight to install onto any pistol slide compatible with these two popular footprints.
For other platforms, UTG includes a standard Picatinny plate that attaches to the underside of the Reflex Micro Dot sight and enables the unit to be mounted on any standard Picatinny optics rail, allowing the sight to be used on rifles and shotguns as well as handguns. Additional mounting options are also available for a select number of handguns that have no slot machined for standard optic mounting plates. For all double-stack Glock, SIG Sauer P-Series and Smith & Wesson guns, UTG offers its RDM mounting plates. These mounting options slide into standard slide dovetails designed for iron sights, providing a mounting base for the Reflex Micro Dot sight. A co-witness mount is also available.
