Strion 2020

Streamlight is rolling out the new Strion 2020 rechargeable flashlight, one of the latest working lights to join Streamlight's product line aimed at police, military and first responders in need of durable and general-purpose illumination tools.

“Streamlight developed the super-bright Strion 2020 to provide first responders with a powerful tactical tool for use during search, investigative and emergency situations,” said Michael F. Dineen, Streamlight’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Law enforcement, tactical professionals, military personnel and others can choose between two switches, depending on need or personal preference. We’ve also added convenient features such as a mode select switch so you don’t have to cycle between modes, and an indicator light to check battery status at a glance.”

The new Streamlight Strion is designed to put out 1,200 lumens and 28,000 candela at its highest setting. The Strion 2020 is equipped with both head and tail activated buttons for on and off. In addition to this, the Strion 2020 has a selector switch for choosing different light beam intensities along with a battery power indicator for a quick glance at the light’s power level. This new flashlight is powered by an internal 3.6 volt, 3450 mAh lithium-ion battery. The lithium-ion battery can be charged with any Strion charger. The battery, which can be recharged up to 1,000 times, fully recharges in 4.5 hours, and the charging base indicator will go from steady to blinking when fully charged. The light’s high-intensity strobe can run for 3.5 continuous hours. The flashlight is able to throw a 335 meter beam on the highest setting with a run time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. On medium setting, the light throws 460 lumens, 10,000 candela, a 200-meter beam with a 5.5 hour run time. On the lowest setting, the Strion 2020 provides an extended 12 hours of run time, 120 lumens and 3,000 candela with a 110 meter beam.
