Springfield Armory recently introduced the new XD-M Elite 3.8-inch Compact OSP in .45 ACP. The new handgun combines big-bore power with cutting-edge performance to provide concealed carry users with an extraordinary defensive pistol option.

The new XD-M Elite variant is a powerful pistol that provides 10+1 rounds of the proven .45 ACP. Featuring fully ambidextrous controls, the META trigger, removable short flared magwell, and loaded with other features, this new XD-M Elite features fight-stopping performance in an extremely capable CCW-sized package.

Because the pistol is an OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) variant, it can accept a red-dot optic of your choice using available interchangeable optic-mounting plates. Conveniently, the pistol is available from the factory with a HEX Dragonfly 3.5 MOA red-dot optic. MSRP on the pistol alone is $653, while the pistol packed with the HEX Dragonfly has an MSRP of $843.

“The XD-M Elite family has proven itself through its combination of rugged reliability and top-tier performance,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “And now with the XD-M® Elite 3.8-inch Compact OSP in .45 ACP, shooters have a powerful CCW pistol that is ready for every day carry duty.”

For those in the market for a compact yet powerful big-bore pistol that combines exceptional performance with concealable dimensions, the new XD-M Elite 3.8-inch Compact OSP .45 ACP looks to be an impressive option. For more information, check out springfield-armory.com
