Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F Comp 9mm Pistol

Springfield Armory is launching the new Echelon 4.5F Comp 9mm pistol, with an integral compensator to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The compensator featured on the Echelon 4.5F Comp is discreetly designed, with a single port on the top of the hammer-forged slide and barrel. By re-directing a portion of the exhaust gases upwards, the compensator reduces muzzle rise and enhances control for faster and more accurate follow-up shots. In addition to this, the front sight is positioned behind the compensator for an uninterrupted sight picture.

Inside the Echelon Comp is the Central Operating Group, an entirely self-contained and serialized part that can be easily moved between grip modules in seconds. Underneath the slide cover plate is the Echelon Comp’s patent-pending optic mounting system. The Variable Interface System allows users to mount more than 30 optics directly to the slide without the use of adapter plates.

“The Echelon was designed to offer a fresh take on the duty-style 9mm pistol with a host of modular and innovative features,” said Steve Kramer, Springfield Armory’s Vice President of Marketing. “Now with the Echelon Comp, shooters have a new option that combines advanced performance with duty-grade durability.”
