Samson Manufacturing is a premier manufacturer of firearms parts and accessories. Specializing primarily in the AR-15 market, and known for their diverse and accomplished product line, they not only make parts for the AR platform but Kalashnikov handguards, optics and magnifier mounts, fixed and folding rifle sights and many other items. Samson uses state-of-the-art engineering and CNC machining techniques that ensure that all of their  products not only exceed industry standards, but set them. This commitment to excellence makes Samson a first choice for gun owners in the competition, law enforcement and military communities.

The new SXT Series of handguards from Samson replaces the SXS Series handguards. By simplifying the method of attachment to your firearm, Samson was able to lower the price of the handguard. The SXT Series uses a simpler clamping system of two cross bolts which fit into the barrel nut for a rapid and easy installation. The previous SXS Series used a clamping system that had a bias block on the bottom to secure the forearm to the barrel nut, which also required knurling.

SXT handguards are made from 6061-T6 aluminum and have a MIL-A-8625 type III class 2 anodized finish. The SXT Series handguards are available in lengths of 4 inches, 7 inches, 9  inches, 10 inches, 11 inches, 12 inches and 15 inches. Each handguard also includes a hex wrench, barrel nut and a barrel nut wrench.

MSRP on the new SXT Series of handguards varies from $98.67 for the 4-inch model to $157.75 for the 12-inch version. More information on these and other products from Samson Manufacturing is available at samson-mfg.com.
