Safariland Lightweight Ballistic Panels

Safariland is introducing the SX HP and Hardwire 57 ballistic panels. The Safariland SX HP is engineered with groundbreaking technologies and cutting-edge materials from Avient, Honeywell and Dupont to provide a 20-percent weight reduction and a 20-percent increase in ballistic performance.

The SX HP is available in male and female unstructured styles, with an additional female structured option available for better-tailored protection. The updated design enhances concealability and ergonomics, ensuring maximum comfort.

“We are excited to announce two new ballistic panels created strictly for law enforcement professionals,” said James Duncan, vice president and general manager of armor for Safariland. “The safety of law enforcement professionals is of the utmost importance to us here at Safariland, which is why we made improvements to our industry-trusted ballistic panels.”

Safariland is also introducing the Hardwire Level 3A .57 PSF system. Hardwire entered the soft ballistic market in collaboration with Safariland, which marked a revolutionary advancement in armor technology.

The Hardwire Level 3A .57 PSF system is lighter and thinner than the previous model while retaining lightweight ballistic panel. Hardwire’s stitch-less design, shock- absorption technology and high-pressure construction, now infused with a stronger, next-generation fiber, make this the one of the lightest ballistic panels available.

Available styles include:

  • NIJ Model No. BA-3A00S-SXHP and BA-3A00S-SXHPF
  • NIJ Model No. BA-3A00S-HW01

More information on the Safariland SX HP and Hardwire Level 3A .57 PSF, as well as other products such as holsters, belts and duty gear and products for the armed citizen is available at safariland.com.
