Ruger 22/45 Lite Co-Witness

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. is adding a new variant to its popular product family of Ruger Mk IV 22/45 Lite .22LR semi-automatic target pistols. The latest Mk. IV 22/45 Lite pistol comes optics-ready from the factory, with a standard plate cut for the popular Shield RMS footprint in place of the typical Picatinny rail section usually found on top of the standard Mk IV 22/45. This latest version also comes with a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight that are both designed to co-witness with a mounted electronic red dot sight.

These .22LR semi-automatic pistols make use of the single stack 1911’s traditional 18-degree grip angle and are built around polymer frames. Receivers are anodized aluminum with varying lightening cuts, and in the case of this latest model, it ships with clear anodizing for that classic black and white customized pistol look.

Ruger 22/45 Lite Co-witness Features:

  • Accurate sighting system features an adjustable rear sight, fiber optic front sight on a ventilated rib and mounting position for Shield RMS pattern optics to co-witness with the iron sights (optic not included)
  • Simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning
  • Comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame
  • Serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap
  • Lightweight, ventilated, aerospace-grade aluminum receiver
