Reptilia Picker Ambidextrous Safety

Reptilia Corp. is expanding its parts and accessories for modern AR-15 tactical carbines. The most recently launched new product is the new Reptilia Picker, an ambidextrous safety for standard AR-15-pattern lower receivers.

While many ambidextrous safety selector levers for AR-15 pattern firearms are already on the market, the main design consideration behind the new Reptilia Picker ambidextrous safety selector is to deliver a truly mirrored user experience regardless of how the Picker is installed on a firearm and without regard to the user’s handedness. The Reptilia Picker accomplishes this by shaping its levers in such a way that users can use the same hand movements to engage or disengage the safety without disturbing the grip. In addition to this, the Reptilia Picker can be set up with either a regular 90-degree arc or a shorter 70-degree throw, depending on end-user preferences.

Reptilia manufactures its Picker AR-15 safety selectors from durable 7075-T6 aluminum and offers them in either a black, clear or flat dark earth hardcoat anodized finish–the same as all major aluminum parts found in duty and military grade AR-15 pattern firearms.

Reptilia Picker Ambidextrous Safety Selector Features:

  • True Ambidexterity: Identical feel and function from both sides regardless of how they’re installed
  • 75- or 90-degree configurable throw: Rapid, consistent engagement without overshooting
  • Rugged construction: CNC-machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized
  • Universal compatibility: Fits all mil-spec AR-15 lowers
  • Multiple finish options: Available in FDE, black and clear
  • Made in the USA: Designed and engineered in North Carolina

Like the rest of Reptilia’s catalog, the Picker AR-15 safety and selectors are made in the U.S. Each safety set has a standard retail price of $74.95.
