 Pulsar Telos Thermal Monoculars

Pulsar is bolstering its well-known Telos product line with the introduction of four new thermal monoculars: the new Telos XQ 35, Telos LRF XQ 35, Telos XG 50 and the Telos LRF XG 50.

All new Pulsar Telos XQ 35 models have a 384 x 288 pixel microbolometer along with a <25 mK NETD sensor while making use of a 17μm pixel pitch. The new XG 50 variants boast a higher 640x480 microbolometer resolution, <40mK NETD sensor and a 12μm pixel pitch to provide top notch thermal imaging performance. All four new Pulsar Telos products are equipped with the latest in 1024 x 768 pixel AMOLED displays, with a built feature set that allows the user to take pictures and record video footage in 1024 x 768 resolution and full sound. Setting a new standard in connectivity, all Telos models are Stream Vision 2 compatible, enabling users to conveniently stream content remotely on their mobile devices. Externally all four new units count on an IPX7 waterproof rating and a robust power bank that’s fueled with a USB-C compatible battery with a 8.5 hour runtime.

From a practical application standpoint, XQ 35 and XQ 50 models are designed for long-range hunting and shooting enthusiasts. Both XQ 35 models offer a magnification range of 3 to 12X with a 35 mm /F1.0 lens. The larger Pulsar Telos XQ 50s have a more powerful magnification range of 3.5 to 14X and use larger 50 mm /F1.0 lenses.  The former thermal monocular models can detect objects up to 1,421 yards away while the latter models can go even further, out to a distance of 2,515 yards.
