Primary Arms 3x magnifier

Primary Arms Optics has just released two new FDE (Flat Dark Earth) versions of its popular SLx 3X Micro Magnifier.

The first option is just a standard magnifier with an FDE body, and the second option includes an ACSS Pegasus reticle grid. When lined up correctly with a 1X red dot sight or a 1X prismatic scope, this second version overlays an ACSS Pegasus ballistic grid to the shooter’s sight picture. Optic magnifiers in general are used to provide a moderate amount of zoom level to 1X optics in order to stretch their useful ranges slightly further out. Typically magnifiers are found on carbines set up for close range shooting whose operators may expect the occasional target to be slightly further away. The idea is that having a small magnifier will not burden the shooter with the size, weight and inconvenience of having a full size magnified optic mounted on the firearm.

Primary Arms Optics SLx 3x Micro Magnifier Specifications:

  • Magnification: 3X
  • Objective Lens: 21 mm
  • Exit Pupil: 7 mm
  • Eye Relief: 2.40 inches
  • Field of View: 35.2 feet at 100 yards
  • Weight: 5.3 ounces

“We are excited to offer our award winning SLx 3x Micro Magnifier in FDE for 2023,” says Stephen Morgan, Primary Arms Director of Product Marketing. “We listened to our customers who were looking for a magnifier that would fit on their FDE builds and decided to offer our Micro Magnifier in a new color variant. We always appreciate hearing from our customers to see how we can better serve them.”
