To account for this, the Nextorch engineering team included what it refers to as the UTB (ultra thermal buffer). This system not only serves as a heatsink, but also helps to modulate excessive thermal energy in order to protect the light’s internals for optimal performance. Following from there, the Nextorch TA30D Max is manufactured from rugged 6061-series aluminum and fitted with a titanium-alloy bezel embedded with nano-ceramic glass breakers. The entire unit is rated for an IPX8 level of dust and waterproofing. Finally, the TA30D can withstand 2-meter falls if dropped.
