SIG Sauer Eikonic knives

SIG Sauer has aunched a collection of premium knives made in collaboration with the Eikonic Knife Company. The result is 10 different models that serve EDC (everyday carry) tactical and blade-collecting enthusiasts.

Each knife is manufactured with premium blade metals including M390, 154CM or Nitro V. In addition, each blade is fitted with a G10 or Canvas Micarta handle. All of the different models rely on smooth and ambidextrous flipping actions that incorporate ceramic ball bearings.

The 10 different SIG Sauer and Eikonic blades are based on four primary designs: the Xiphos, Karak, Validus and the Tsuru.

Xiphos

The Xiphos’ blade is made from Nitro V steel and measures 3.4 inches long. It uses a modified tanto tip profile, and the blade is locked in place by a heavy-duty liner lock mechanism and it is sandwiched by either black Micarta or coyote brown G10 grip panels.

Karak

Similar to the Xiphos mentioned above, the SIG Sauer Karak switches out the modified tanto blade tip profile for a Wharncliffe profile. Like its brother, the blade on the Karak is made from Nitro V steel. The Karak’s blade is slightly shorter at 3.25 inches. It also shares the same heavy-duty liner lock system. Karak knives are only available with green Micarta handles.

Validus

The drop-point profile SIG Sauer Validus, whose name means “strong” in Latin, is a heavy duty, hard use tactical knife. In addition to its universally practical drop-point blade profile, the bottom of the handle includes a glass breaker. Its 3.78 inch is manufactured with M390 steel. Validus knives are available in an assortment of finishes.

Tsuru

Like the rest of the lineup, the Tsuru knife uses a premium blade steel and a heavy-duty liner lock mechanism. Tsuru blades are machined from 154CM steel, measures 3.3 inches and has a tanto blade-tip profile.
