Leupold is rolling out a new burnt bronze model to its VX-3i line of riflescopes, the VX-3i CDS-ZL 4.5-14x40. This new scope features a one-inch main tube and Leupold’s exclusive ZeroLock CDS turret dial.

The VX-3i line is built for performance, with features that appeal to hunters and shooters alike. Now scopes in this line have been upgraded with one of Leupold’s most popular items, the ZeroLock dial. The ZeroLock dial prevents unintended adjustments and ensures an accurate return to zero. The dial is fast and easy to use, with a low-profile one revolution dial that is CDS-ready. The rollout of these features marks the first time Leupold has made ZeroLock technology available at a price point below that of the popular VX-5HD line of scopes.

“The VX-3i is already one of the most versatile and successful Gold Ring riflescopes we’ve ever built,” said Vici Peters, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “But we wanted to give our consumers more value. That’s why we added the ZeroLock dial and why we’re adding a burnt bronze finish to the production line—more factory rifles are being made available in bronze, and we want hunters and shooters to be able to match those rifles with the very best optics.”

Also included with the VX-3i CDS-ZL 4.5-14x40 scope is Leupold’s proprietary CDS (Custom Dial System) feature. One free dial is included with the purchase of each CDS-compatible scope such as the VX-3i. Leupold will then customize an elevation dial to match an exact load, velocity and average atmospheric conditions of the customer’s choice. The resulting dial allows shooters to easily compensate for bullet drop and make ultra-quick adjustments on the fly, in the field or on the range.

Like all VX-3i riflescopes from Leupold, the new VX-3i CDS-ZL in burnt bronze features the Twilight Max Light Management System, which intensifies ambient light in low-light environments. This allows for excellent glare management and delivers premium edge-to-edge clarity inside the scope. An ultra-lightweight construction disperses recoil energy for unrivaled durability.

All VX-3i riflescopes are waterproof, fogproof and guaranteed to perform for life and are backed by Leupold’s Lifetime Guarantee. MSRP on the VX-3i CDS-ZL 4.5-14x40 starts at $909.99; for more information on this scope and other Leupold products, please visit leupold.com.
