Franklin Armory Inc. has recently announced its latest aftermarket drop-in binary trigger, the new Franklin Armory 22-EZ Drop-In Binary trigger to be used with the popular Ruger 10/22 series of .22 LR semi-automatic rifles and large format pistols.

As the latest member of the Franklin Armory Binary Firing System, the new Franklin Armory 22-EZ Drop-In Binary Trigger makes use of the patented Franklin Armory “pull and release” semi-automatic trigger mechanism that’s common to the other units the Binary Trigger lineup. Similar to other Franklin Armory Binary triggers, the new 22-EZ Binary Trigger has a three-position functionality. The first position is “safe”, the second is standard semi-automatic and the third position is binary mode. With binary mode, a round is fired when the trigger gets depressed, like it would in the standard semi-automatic firearm. However, with the binary functionality, a second round is fired during the trigger’s reset. In other words, the binary trigger will cause a second round to fire as soon as it is released from being pulled all the way back after the first shot.

“We listened to our customers and potential customers alike who were seeking that sweet spot between affordability and ease of installation,” said Jay Jacobson, President of Franklin Armory. “Our new 22-EZ not only makes going Binary easier on the pocketbook but it’s a breeze to install as well.”

The 22-EZ Drop-In Trigger for the Ruger 10/22 sits in a polymer cassette and is completely drop-in and easy to install. This new rimfire binary trigger has a starting retail price of $369.99. For customers who still prefer a rimfire drop-in trigger housed in an aluminum cassette, Franklin Armory offers the 22 Plinkster (22-C1-P) for $469.
