European American Armory is releasing the new Girsan MC P35 PI pistol. The Girsan MC P35 PI, is a new smaller sized version of the venerable Browning Hi Power, originally designed by John Moses Browning and his Belgian colleague at FN, Diuedonné Saive.

The MC P35 PI is an all steel pistol chambered semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mmm with the delayed blowback system made famous by John Browning himself. The PI version is slightly more compact than the classic Hi Power/ MC P35 for added concealed carry convenience. The barrel measures only 3.9 inches compared to the 4.7 inch standard size barrel found in full size Hi Powers. The Girsan MC P35 PI comes standard with ambidextrous thumb safeties and black synthetic polymer checkered stocks. True to the original military Hi Power design, the Girsan MC P35 PI also includes a classically styled ring hammer that is better known to some people as the “commander style hammer.” This hammer is an alternative to the other spur shaped hammer that may cause hammer bite and shooting discomfort for shooters with larger hands. Unlike the originals, however, which were designed to take thirteen round capacity magazines, the MC P35 PI uses fifteen round staggered column magazines that give it an overall capacity of “15 + 1” fully loaded.

“Not only did Girsan find a way to make the already popular MC P35 family of handguns easier to carry but they have found another great market for our retailers to capitalize on,” said Chase Duffey, National Sales & Import Manager at EAA Corp. “We’ve already seen a huge demand for the more compact MC P35 PI.”

MSRP for the Girsan MC P35 PI is $630, and for more information on this pistol or any other firearms imported by European American Armory, please visit their website at www.eaacorp.com.
