European American Armory and Girsan have just unveiled the new Girsan MC9 Disruptor X, a budget-friendly but performance-focused full-size 9mm polymer-frame, striker-fired pistol that sports an optics-ready slide and weight-reducing slide cuts.
The Girsan MC9 Disruptor X is based on the original Girsan MC9 Disruptor 9mm pistol. The pistol is configured like many other polymer-frame, striker-fired pistols on the market today which use Browning-style, tilting delayed-blowback mechanisms and a striker-fired action with a bladed safety. The new Girsan Disruptor X’s optics-ready, factory-cut slide accommodates the Shield Arms RMS/RMSc optics footprint, one of the most common patterns for slide-mounted micro-red-dot sights. To mount an optic, all the end user must do is to remove the existing cover, which also contains the rear sight.
Following the cues of other popular striker-fired pistols with polymer frames, the new Girsan MC9 Disruptor X also accepts interchangeable backstraps of different sizes in order to improve the pistol’s ergonomic qualities depending on shooters’ hand size.
