The Daniel Defense H9 is a semi-automatic pistol first announced at the 2024 SHOT Show, an important event for the gun industry in which the majority of new products for the year are announced. The H9 started life as the product of Hudson Manufacturing, a small start-up gun company which set out in 2017 to disrupt the gun industry by selling a 9mm striker-fired pistol that took after many elements of the beloved single stack 1911, such as a thinner profile and comfortable grip angle. The new H9 builds on this pistol with many improvements from the original pistol.
