First Look: C&H Precision LPVO Rifle Optic

C&H Precision has just launched the C&H LPVO, a new 2-12x24mm riflescope with a modern first-focal plane illuminated reticle, MRAD click values, adjustable parallax and a 30mm maintube diameter. Additional features include six different illumination levels powered by a single CR2032 battery, shockproof construction, locking turrets and an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it is capable of being submerged at 1 meter of water for at least 30 minutes with no ill effects.

LPVO which stands for low-power variable optic, which typically refers to riflescopes that can zoom out from 1X all the way to 6, 8 and even 10X magnification, C&H Precision’s new scope is slightly different as its lowest magnification setting is 2X instead of 1X. This zoom range is set up more like a traditional riflescope, but still offers many of the same features found on other modern tactically oriented LPVOs such as lightweight, grid based FFP reticle and MRAD based turrets.
