Browning announced the launch of several new rechargeable flashlights for 2017, one of which is perfectly sized for everyday carry: the Browning Crossfire 1AA USB Rechargeable Flashlight.

The Browning Crossfire flashlight has an adjustable brightness setting that allows for a minimum output of 102 lumens and a maximum output of 300 lumens. When using the AA battery, the beam throws an effective amount of light up to 85 yards. However, that output increases to 150 yards when running off the included lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

The light features 2-hour and 18-hour output settings and is designed to be waterproof, withstanding complete submersion at a depth of 3 feet for 30 minutes. To facilitate this waterproof construction, the USB charging port is secured through the use of a rubber cover. The overall size of the new flashlight is just less than 5.4 inches long, perfectly sized to fit into any carry kit.

The lithium-ion battery included with the kit is rated to withstand 300 charging cycles and recharges in 2 to 3 hours from any AC power output. The light features charging-status lights that alert the user once the Crossfire is fully charged. The USB cable needed to charge the light is included with the Crossfire. In addition to the lithium-ion battery, the light will also run on a single AA battery, which can be found nearly anywhere or can be pulled from other electronic devices in an emergency.

The Crossfire is built with a polymer housing that is designed to withstand multiple impacts, making it ideal for storage or carry in a wide range of environments. It also comes with a diffuser dome attachment that softens the beam in order to provide area lighting or turn the light into a beacon for emergency signaling. The light features three different output modes: high, low and emergency strobe. The light itself uses a white LED bulb that does not need regular replacement.

The suggested retail price for the Browning Crossfire 1AA USB Rechargeable Flashlight is $54.99.
