Blackwater Firearms is introducing the new Sentry 12 pump-action, magazine-fed shotgun, which is designed to be an ideal shotgun for law enforcement officers or home defenders who need to address a rapidly changing situation. The Blackwater Sentry 12 offers a reliable, magazine-fed solution, allowing users to employ a platform capable of rapidly changing types of munitions, which may be necessary given specific conditions. But it’s not just law enforcement that can benefit from Blackwater’s firearms expertise. The Sentry 12 has an 18.5-inch barrel, which means that armed civilians can put the Sentry 12 to use for home defense, hunting or just having an enjoyable day at the range.

The Sentry 12 is a lightweight, 12-gauge, magazine-fed shotgun which offers users the ability to rapidly reconfigure ammunition to match the specific threat or hunting scenarios. The lightweight AR-style ergonomics provide users with an intuitive feel that crosses over from AR-pattern rifle platforms. In addition to these cross platform similarities, the Sentry 12 gives you the ability to store ammunition in familiar box-style magazines and to perform rapid reloads, giving you the edge in high-stress situations.

Blackwater Sentry 12 Features:

  • 18.5-inch, smooth-bore, nitride-coated barrel
  • 12 gauge, accepts both 2¾-inch and 3-inch shells
  • 21-inch, fully-extruded, 6160 aluminum upper receiver
  • Overall length: 36 inches
  • Weight: 6.5 pounds (empty)
  • 17 inches of Picatinny on top of the upper receiver
  • Fully ambidextrous controls that are similar to the AR platform
  • Includes two 5-round magazines

MSRP for the Sentry 12 from Blackwater Firearms is $899, and more information is available at blackwaterworldwide.com.
