Benelli Nova 3 Shotgun

Benelli is launching five new Nova 3 Tactical 12-gauge shotguns. These new Nova 3 Tactical pump action shotguns can handle up to 12 gauge 3-inch shells through a 18.5-inch barrel. Three of these models have fixed chokes, either cylinder or modified, while two take screw-in chokes and ship with Benelli Modified chokes. Four out of the five models have a four-round tubular magazine capacity, and the fifth model holds seven shells. Available finishes include black anodized or black MultiCam. As a defensive tactical shotgun, the Benelli Nova 3 Pump Action series comes equipped with a front-sight post and a rear ghost-ring sight. A short section of Picatinny rail is also included in front of the rear ghost-ring sight assembly.

The majority of pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns join together at the rear of the receiver and very front end of the butt stock, but the Benelli Nova 3 pump-action shotgun incorporates a seamless design where the stock encases the entire aluminum machined receiver. Called Poly-Mod, the goal is to create a unitary part that is fully weatherproof and adds rigidity to the entire system, something that’s crucial for a workhorse firearm such as a pump-action tactical shotgun. One of the improvements over the original Nova series is the newest models have a 14 percent shorter length of stroke and a beveled loading for smoother loading.
