Bear Creek Arsenal 410

Bear Creek Arsenal is now offering complete AR-15 and standalone uppers chambered for .410-bore shotshells. These specialized ARs from Bear Creek Arsenal take the popular .410-bore shells and make it fit in a semi-automatic package. With the exception of the Gen 2 side-charging handle, the Bear Creek BC-15 .410 operates and shares the same manual-of-arms with America’s most popular semi-automatic sporting rifle, the AR-15.

Bear Creek Arsenal BC-15 .410 Features

  • 20-inch parkerized barrel
  • 15-inch M-Lok rail
  • Bear Creek Arsenal Gen-2 side charging handle
  • Full choke (this shotgun uses a Winchester Invector style choke)
  • 3-inch chamber
  • Bear Creek Arsenal forged aluminum lower receiver.

Because this is not a run-of-the-mill shotgun and has a specific form-factor and design, Bear Creek Arsenal has some specific ammunition recommendations for best results with the BC-15 .410.

  • Bear Creek stipulates that this .410-bore shotgun goes through a break-in period. Expect to shoot at least two boxes (50 rounds) of shells through this period.
  • For best results, use shells that measure 2.25 to 2.39 inches in overall length.
  • Use .410 High Brass Shotgun shells to break in. A minimum of 1200 fps is recommended. These magazines will not accommodate all 2.5-inch .410 shells.
  • BCA has found from testing that these loads work exceptionally well with the .410 Shotgun:
    Winchester AA Sporting Clays
Super Sport Target Load 2½-inch #7 shot
    Winchester Super X 2½-inch #4 shot
