Bear Creek Arsenal 338 ARC Upper Receiver

Bear Creek Arsenal is now expanding its product lineup by offering upper-receiver groups chambered in .338 ARC with barrel lengths of 10.5 and 16 inches.

Bear Creek Arsenal .338 ARC BC-15 Upper-Receiver Group Specifications:

  • Caliber: .338 ARC
  • Barrel Lengths: 16 inches and 10.5 inches
  • Barrel Material and Finish: Parkerized steel for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance
  • Upper Receiver: Forged and billet 7075-T6 aluminum
  • Handguard: Talon M-Lok freefloat, split rail
  • Gas System: Optimized for reliable cycling in both suppressed and unsuppressed configurations
  • Bolt Carrier Group: Full-auto rated, nitride-coated for longevity and smooth operation with rear and side charging options
  • Compatibility: Designed to fit standard mil-spec AR-15 lowers

The .338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is a recently introduced centerfire bottleneck rifle cartridge from Hornady designed to push a relatively heavy bullet at subsonic velocities to deliver both a large amount of kinetic force while also staying quiet and easier to suppress. Hornady currently offers the .338 ARC in two product lines. The first is Hornady’s Black Series loaded with a 175-grain BTHP Hornady Match bullet. The other line is Hornady Sub-X, which features the 307-grain soft-tipped Hornady Sub-X bullet. Sub-X projectiles are specifically engineered to promote full expansion at lower subsonic velocities by relying on the aid of a blunt polymer tip.

Bear Creek Arsenal is currently selling its new .338 ARC uppers as standalone complete uppers, rather than complete rifles. Retail pricing for these new upper receivers starts at $309.95.
