Accuracy Solutions LLC has just unveiled its new FAST Orca chassis-system product family consisting of three individual models: the Orca, Baby Orca and Mako FAST. These three new rifle-chassis systems are prominently manufactured with micarta, one of the sturdiest polymer materials originally developed for use in electronic circuit boards due to its natural resistance to electric currents. Micarta is also extremely popular as a material used to make knife grips or modern pistol stocks, but this high-strength polymer also has good harmonic-dampening qualities that benefit a barreled action as it sits in its chassis. In a rifle-shooting application, micarta is approximately 20-percent lighter than aluminum and can better handle vibrations from the shot’s recoil compared to aluminum materials.

Accuracy Solutions ORCA Chassis Features

  • Micarta/G10 construction
  • Built-in BipodeXt technology
  • Adjustable length-of-pull, cheekpiece and rear-bag-rider height
  • Vertically adjustable buttpad
  • Horizontally adjustable cheekpiece
  • Modular foot system
  • Modular cheekpiece system
  • Long-Shot Precision pistol grips
  • Ambidextrous in most cases

Besides the incorporation of micarta, the new Accuracy Solutions Orca, Baby Orca and Mako FAST also include the Accuracy Solutions BipodeXT stabilizing system for additional stability to aid in precision. The BipodeXT has a unique footprint and is designed to place the chassis’ actual bipod well in front of the muzzle for maximum stability. In a nutshell the BipodXT is a tube with the bipod feet at its long end and clamps directly underneath the chassis itself to provide an Archimedes lever for enhanced stability.

“Our new FAST Orca chassis are years in the making. With some of the world’s best shooters using our chassis and BipodeXt systems, we couldn’t afford to deliver a product with any sign of questionable performance,” said Accuracy Solutions President Dani Gyurec. “We are perfectionists, laser-focused on incorporating precision-machined Micarta and industry-leading adjustability into the best rifle chassis on the market. We’ve accomplished that with our Orca chassis and are proud to share them with you.”
