Blackhawk introduced a new line of aftermarket AR-15 upgrades for 2017, including the new No-Latch Ambi Charging Handle designed to drop into any mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver.

The new charging handle does not feature the spring-loaded latch commonly found on AR charging handles. Instead, a leaf-spring design is built into the handle itself, eliminating the need for shooters to actuate the latch in order to pull the handle. The no-latch design also removes a weak point in the design, doing away with the small roll pin and spring entirely.

The new charging handle is completely ambidextrous and features an oversized polymer handle that includes a grip texture to enhance control. The charging handle itself is made from 7075 aluminum.

The Blackhawk No-Latch Ambi Charging Handle comes in four colors: black, gray, flat dark earth and olive drab. The suggested retail price for the new charging handle is $39.95.
