The GiantMouse GMF2 fixed blade knife is a popular, modern take on an old Nordic work blade. Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes, the designers of the blade, drew inspiration from the style of knives they grew up using in Denmark.

The GMF2 was first introduced in 2017 with a green canvas Micarta handle, followed by the GMF2-P with a tan Micarta handle and the GMF2-FF with full-flat grind and green Micarta handle. The result of these efforts is a line of knives that is known for ruggedness, utility and meticulous attention to detail.

Now GiantMouse is releasing two new additions to the GMF2 line, the GMF2-P-G and GMF2-DB. Both of these fixed blade knives have well-countered Micarta handles that make them very comfortable to hold in your hand yet still be able to hold up to heavy use in the field. All the models in the GMF2 line are built to stand whatever task you need to accomplish, no matter if you are shaving wood for a campfire, cutting rope for a hammock or just spending time outdoors with a good knife at your side.

The GMF2-P-G knife has a green canvas Micarta handle and a stonewashed PVD blade, and is paired with a burgundy leather Dangler style sheath that is handcrafted in Italy.

The GMF2-DB, on the other hand, has a double black canvas Micarta handle and a satin finish blade. The knife comes with a Dangler style sheath in black leather, rather than the GMF2-P-G's burgundy.
