This new framelock knife from Buck has a S45VN Bos heat treated flat grind blade, ultra-smooth ball bearing flipper, G10 top scale and removable belt clip, all working together to elevate your everyday carry game. The Onset is built for the rigors of daily use and features a 3⅜-inch drop point blade with an overall closed length of 4⅞ inches and Rockwell hardness of 59-61, offering superior edge retention and rock solid toughness.
The 040 Onset was developed through Buck’s commitment to continually expand and enhance their EDC (everyday carry) lineup. This new knife builds on Buck’s almost 120 years of expertise in developing and optimizing knives for a variety of uses by people all over the world.
