More and more Americans are realizing the advantages of owning bullet-resistant gear of some sort, such as a bullet-resistant vest. Advances in materials and manufacturing means that bullet-resistant clothing is more affordable than ever, and armed citizens are seeing an increasing need to integrate bulletproof clothing into their lifestyle. To meet that need, BulletSafe is now coming out with an affordable bullet-resistant vest design with the safety-minded American citizen in mind. Their new vests are stab-proof, slash-proof and bulletproof to the NIJ (National Institute of Justice) Level IIIA standard.

The Level IIIA standard means that the BulletSafe vest will stop rounds from handguns up to .44 Magnum as well as shotgun pellets as large as 12 gauge buckshot, but it does not offer protection from rifle rounds. The vest is made of 600 denier polyester and is customizable with accessories. They also feature wrap-around, front and rear ballistic panels to give your torso total protection and  flexible, breathable shoulder and side straps to keep your vest firmly but comfortably against your body.

The BulletSafe vest can be concealed underneath regular clothing, and the modular design of the vest enables each user to adjust it for comfort and mobility as needed. BulletSafe has a simple sizing chart, allowing customers to select a vest from one of seven different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 4XL. All BulletSafe vests are black and arrive at your door ready to be put to use with a spot for a Velcro patch on the front breast. The BulletSafe vest also has an option for additional ballistic insert plates, allowing them to be upgraded to resist rounds from higher-caliber firearms.

MSRP for the Level IIIA BulletSafe vest is $299.97, and more information on this product as well as other items from BulletSafe is available at bulletsafe.com.
