Swampfox Optics introduces its new Liberty and Justice red-dot sights, which the company offers as its next generation red dot sights. Both are optimized for the concealed-carrier and tested for robustness for use on reciprocating pistol slides. The Liberty model keep the standard window size of the extant Kingslayer model (22 mm window, while the Justice model is the “big window” variant with a 27 mm wide window.
Swampfox Product Marketing Director Michael Branson states, "These are the same emitters that other companies claim 50,000 hours of battery life with, but nobody really carries around their optic on setting #3 all the time, so that’s not real world. No circle dot or green reticles, the 3 MOA red dot is the only emitter that gave us the battery life boost needed for every day carry. With Shake ‘N Wake helping avoid waste, you can carry either Liberty or Justice every day at a daylight bright setting, and never have to push a button if you don’t want to. It wakes up when it’s on your body and sleeps when you put it down. Change your batteries every Christmas just in case."
Battery replacement has been simplified by means of a top-loading mechanism, which retains the ability to be changed while the optic is still mounted, but decreases the overall width of the optic and facilitates better holster fit. Should impact resistance be a concern, Swampfox will be offering a separate, steel shield (called "Ironsides") as an accessory.
