Whether you’re looking for an alternate means of concealed carry or the situation requires a level of discretion befitting a subcompact handgun, a pocket holster, like the DeSantis Super Fly, may be the solution.

In addition to a pocket holster’s biggest benefit—that being deep concealment without the need of a cover garment—the Super Fly is designed to keep the handgun oriented in an upright position, as its butt remains in a consistent and easily accessible position.

The addition of a new highly rubberized, tacky exterior aids to anchor the pistol in place while minimizing the likelihood of the gun shifting under movement. Conversely, the interior is lined with low-friction pack cloth. Guns simply glide across the slick lining to promote a quick draw. A generously sized tab on the holster’s main seam is designed to catch the inside corner of the pocket, ensuring the holster remains in the pocket during presentation.

Hook-and-loop material along the holster’s spine allows a removable outer flap to be added. The extra material further breaks your gun’s telltale outline—a simple but welcome ounce of prevention safeguarding against the likelihood of the pistol printing against your clothing. The Super Fly is available for a wide variety of popular revolvers and subcompact semi-automatics. MSRP: $42.99; desantisholster.com
