German Precision Optics (GPO) recently introduced two new premium riflescopes designed to meet the demands of today's shooter. The new Passion 5X riflescopes offer precise, reliable and high-quality performance for a wide range of applications. The scopes feature a 30 mm main tube and GPO’s proprietary GPObright lens coating technology for maximized light transmission. The new 1-5x24i and 3.5-18x56i riflescopes also feature PASSIONdrop hydrophobic exterior lens coatings and a Double HD objective lens to deliver enhanced clarity, exceptional brightness and true color display from dawn to dusk.

The new 5X magnification scopes also feature the micro-fiber-optic dot iControl illumination system. This proprietary system allows for brightness adjustment to deal with any light condition and has an extremely fine micro-fiber-optic dot for precision shooting at any distance. The system automatically powers down when the scope has been stationary for more than three hours and alerts the user when the battery power is low.

Both scopes have easy-to-read adjustable turrets with rotation markings, fast focus rubberized oculars, and an extra-wide magnification adjustment ring, making them ideal for any situation. The 3.5-18x56i model is available with a ballistic Mil-base and the 1.5x24i is equipped with the illuminated G4i reticle.

The new 1-5x24i and 3.5-18x56i utilize a second focal plane reticle and are crafted from a solid, one-piece, dust-proof, waterproof, nitrogen-filled body which offers constant point-of-impact and increased strength and durability. All GPO products purchased in the USA include a full lifetime warranty.

The 1-5x24i scope has an MSRP of $879.99 and the 3.5-18x56i has an MSRP of $1179.99. More information on both these scopes and the rest of the GPO line is available at gpo-usa.com.
