Springfield Armory gave a sneak peek of three all-new pistol variants to the Saint line of AR platform guns at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas earlier this year.

“We wanted to give our customers an early ‘sneak peek’ at some exciting new Saint pistols we have been developing over the past year,” explains Springfield Armory VP of Marketing Steve Kramer. “Each brings something innovative to the Springfield Armory line-up, and offers exciting new options for all of the Saint fans out there.”

Coming out in the spring of 2020 is the ultra-compact Saint Edge PDW Pistol. The pistol has a  5.5-inch barrel and is chambered in 5.56 mm. Designed to deliver micro-sized performance, the PDW has a short 18.75-inch overall length with its Maxim Defense SCW brace collapsed. The PDW also includes a Magpul 20-round PMAG and a short Reptilla CQG pistol grip to provide unrivaled portability and firepower in a compact package.

For those who need a bit more punch from their pistol, the new Saint Victor .308 Pistol packs .30-caliber power into a 10.3-inch barreled gun. The Victor .308 Pistol measures slightly over 28 inches with its SB Tactical SBA3 five-position brace fully collapsed. The gun also has top-notch features like a BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 pistol grip, a free-float M-Lok handguard and a Springfield Armory Blast Diverter muzzle device. Look for this new addition to the Saint line in early 2020.

Joining the Saint Edge line of firearms in the spring of 2020 is the all-new EVAC Pistol, a 5.56 mm pistol that is designed for takedown and discreet storage in the included storage bag. The EVAC pistol uses a patent-pending ratchet barrel takedown system, combined with a Gear Head Works Tailhook MOD 1 side-folding brace with Law Tactical Gen 3-M folder adapter. These features work together to make a pistol that takes down for extremely compact storage, making a perfect security for when disaster strikes.

Tech Wisdom: Dirty Magazines

The first thing I would do is to separate all of the magazines by brand and caliber. Many factory magazines, even if they are not in their original packaging, have the brand and model of the pistol they are designed for and the caliber of ammunition they are designed to shoot marked where it is readily visible.
