SHOT Show 2020 Video: Polymer80 Complete Pistols

Our last stop at Industry Day at the Range took us to the Polymer80 booth, where the company had a few of its new-for-2020, complete pistols available to try out. Shooting Illustrated's Kristen Walter had a chance to chat with the folks from Polymer80 about these new offerings, as well as a third offering for another popular, polymer-frame pistol.

Both a full-size pistol (PF9) and compact (PF9c) are now available as complete firearms, with all components made by Polymer80. Frame, internals, slides, barrels are all available should you wish to purchase them separately and do-it-yourself (and stay tuned to our "I Carry" series to see one of the frames...)

Also available will be a new grip frame for the SIG Sauer P320 (which, since it's just a grip frame, is not a serialized component). With the removable fire control group of the P320, which is the serialized component and therefore considered the firearm, simply remove from the original P320, drop into the Polymer80 frame, and reassemble with the P320 slide. The Polymer80 frame is a decidedly different feel - I happen to really like it - and it's super easy to swap out in the SIG P320.
