Buck Knives have over 100 years of experience and craftsmanship using the very best materials and state-of-the-art technology to create knives which meet the exacting demands expected of a high-quality knife. Now, Buck Knives is releasing its new Ground Combat collection of knives, featuring tanto-style blades and spear-point blades.

The Ground Combat Knives (GCK) are designed for use in harsh environments and offer impressive strength and durability. They use 5160 spring steel to increase the blade toughness, level of ductility and offer excellent fatigue resistance. These mission-ready tools have been field tested under the most demanding conditions and deliver impressive functionality. The 891 GCK Spear Point and the 893 GCK Tanto are available in tricolored canvas Micarta or black G10 handles and feature 5½ inch steel blades with Cerakote coating, blunt handle design for light hammering tasks and other combat-focused functions. Each version comes with an injection molded polypropylene MOLLE compatible sheath with multiple carry options.

“The Ground Combat Knives were produced to meet the increasing need for a reliable, indestructible knife that can be used for combat and tactical operations, but can also cross over as a reliable outdoor utility tool,” said Chris Brooks, director of brand management for Buck Knives. “Each design was field tested by military operatives in the most demanding conditions and that feedback was helpful in the overall design.”

Just like other Buck knives, all the knives in the GCK line are proudly made in the USA. MSRP for each of these knives is $130 and more information is available at buckknives.com.
