You never know when a firearm might need a little maintenance in the field or even in the shop. Parts fail, bolts come loose, things happen. So it’s always good to have a small set-up tool kit to help tackle those pesky mishaps. Fix It Sticks, long known for their modular tool kits, introduced two new kits at SHOT Show 2020.

First is the All-in-One Torque Driver Kit, which provides the six most commonly needed torque values in one compact driver: 15 in/lb., 25 in/lb., 35 in/lb., 45 in/lb., 55 in/lb. and 65 in/lb. Gun parts tend to be a bit finicky, so getting just the right torque is critical to not stripping a screw or breaking it off. This great add-on to Fix It Stick’s outstanding lineup of portable tools helps prevent costly over-torqueing. The driver is compatible with any ¼-inch hex bit. MSRP: $112

Second is the Modular Cleaning Rod. Compatible with the Modular T-Drive and Fix It Stick, this portable kit cleans .22- and .30-caliber barrels, making it ideal for small .22 barrels and many of the most common AR platforms. The kit consists of six precision rods that screw together to form a 44-inch rod, six .22 caliber bore adaptors, six .30 caliber bore adaptors, a double ball bearing drive adaptor and a nylon carrying case for easy transport and storage. The kit fits easily into a range bag or backpack to be ready when you need to field clean your rifle. MSRP: $112
