Streamlight is one of the most well-known names in the world of tactical flashlights and weapon-mounted lights, and the company's new ProTac 90 light continues that legacy of quality and innovation. The ProTac 90 offers you the reliability and features of other flashlights in the ProTac line, but with a 90 degree head that’s useful for military and law enforcement applications or any other situation where you need to attach a light to your gear, rather than your firearm.

Ruggedness has been Streamlight’s stock in trade for some time now, and the ProTac 90 is no exception. The flashlight is waterproof to one meter of immersion and has been drop-tested for a two meter fall. The LED light inside of the flashlight kicks out a 300 lumen beam, while the outside is built from aircraft-grade aluminum with a black anodized finish. The ProTac 90 measures 3.78 inches in length and weighs 2.8 ounces with a CR123A battery installed, or 3.1 ounces when using the AA alkaline battery. Both batteries are included with the flashlight, along with a removable pocket clip.

The ProTac 90 can run off a wide variety of batteries, either one CR123A lithium, a AA alkaline battery or a AA lithium battery. When using a CR123A battery, the flashlight delivers 300 lumens and 5,400 candela over a 147-meter beam distance on High. Run times for the ProTac 90 vary from 1 hour and 45 minutes to 5 hours and 30 minutes on High, and from 8 hours and 15 minutes to 15 hours on Low, depending on which battery you’re using.

The ProTac 90 also features a multi-function, push-button tactical switch that allows for one-handed operation of the momentary, variable intensity and strobe modes, and it also features a TEN-TAP programmable switch, which lets the user switch from three programs: The factory-default high/strobe/low; high only; or low/high. The ProTac 90 has an MSRP of $68.00, and more information is available at streamlight.com.
