First, a 30-day, money-back guarantee applies—regardless where the new PPQ was purchased—allowing new PPQ owners who don’t fall in love with the handgun within that timeframe to simply visit ShootItLoveItBuyIt.com and initiate a “return your gun” process. Walther will provide a shipping label to have it sent back. Once the gun has been received by Walther, and inspected, the company will issue a check for full reimbursement of the PPQ purchase price, including tax.
In addition, a “Try Before You Buy” program has been launched at select Walther dealers across the United States. That allows enthusiasts a 30-day trial period of the PPQ for no money down. Prospective owners simply visit ShootItLoveItBuyIt.com and apply for a voucher. To ensure the validity of the credit card entered, Walther will pre-authorize it for $1,000. No charge will appear on the account at this time or through the 30-day trial period.
Once the application has been processed, a voucher number will be e-mailed to the applicant, who in turn can visit the nearest Walther dealer to select a PPQ model. Present the voucher number and, after filling out the required 4473 and passing the FBI NICS check, the purchaser can take possession of the handgun to test, free of charge for 30 days.
If it doesn’t suit the enthusiast’s needs, it can be returned within that period through Walther’s ShootItLoveItBuyIt.com portal and the card will not be charged. If the new owner does “Love it,” the dealer’s sales price will be charged to the card account 30 days from “purchase.” Full details and authorized dealers can be found on the website.
