New from Browning is new X-Bolt Max Varmint/Target, designed to provide long-range shooters with the specialized rifle options they need to perform at the highest level.

A key feature of the Browning X-Bolt Max Varmint/Target line is the composite Max stock, which features an adjustable comb that allows the shooter to dial-in the fit of the rifle to optimize eye-to-scope alignment. Stock spacers are also included to easily fit between the Inflex Technology recoil pad and the stock in order to adjust the length of pull for each shooter. A comfortable, upright pistol grip optimizes finger-to-trigger reach, and a fore-end-mounted Picatinny rail provides a secure location for a bipod and also includes an integrated mount for a sling swivel. Capping everything off is a matte-black finish to minimize reflections and help keep you unseen.

The accurate, award-winning X-Bolt action features a matte-blued finish and is securely bedded into the Max stock. The action also features an extended bolt handle for faster and easier bolt operation. The hand-chamfered-and-fluted, 26-inch, stainless-steel barrel on the X-Bolt Max Varmint/Target rifles has a heavy bull profile for additional stability. The muzzle is threaded at 5/8-24 TPI to accommodate a suppressor and has a removable muzzle brake. A thread protector is included when the muzzle brake is not in use.
