Owners of the popular CZ-USA Scorpion EVO 3, available in a range of options from pistol-size and braced variants to full-on pistol-caliber carbines, have reason to rejoice with Magpul's 2019 product expansions. A number of Magpul-designed enhancements are available for the platform, giving consumers access to enhanced grips, magazine releases and magazines.

First, Magpul announced the addition of its MOE-EVO Grip, a drop-in design that provides users with an enhanced grip angle and Magpul's proprietary TSP texture on all the contact surfaces of the grip. This ensures users have increase comfort and control when handling their pistol-caliber carbine. Fans of Magpul's line of AR-15 and AK-47 pistol grips will understand the benefits of this new option, which is constructed from the company's high-strength, injection-molded polymer. Each grip installs with a single 3 mm Hex wrench.

Second, Magpul announced its MOE-EVO Enhanced Magazine Release, designed to provide easy, one-handed activation of the magazine-release mechanism. The release, also constructed from injection-molded polymer, is built to provide a new level of durability in an affordable upgrade package every EVO owner can take advantage of. Ridges on the activation surface of the release allows users to effortlessly release their mags with either hand, and the increased surface area of the release makes it easy to activate with or without gloves. Scorpion EVO 3 owners can install the release easily with a 5/32-inch roll-pin punch.

Finally, Magpul expanded its PMag lineup with its new PMag 35 EV9, offering EVO owners a compatible magazine designed to hold 35 rounds of 9 mm. Owners of Scorpion EVO pistols, PCCs and submachine guns can take advantage of the lightweight, durable construction of this magazine, which features an improved stack geometry designed to improve reliability. The magazine comes apart easily for maintenance, and an impact-resistant floor plate ensures the mags are able to handle repeated drops without issue. Capacity-indicator slots at 10, 20, 30 and 35 rounds alert shooters to how many rounds are left, and each mag feature the paint-pen dot matrix found on other PMags.

All Magpul CZ Scorpion EVO 3 upgrades and accessories feature a black finish and are made in the USA, so each counts as one compliance part under U.S.C. 922(r) regulations. Both the pistol grip and enhanced magazine release retail for $24.95, while the 35-round PMags retail for $19.95.
