Gerber is a household name in the knife industry, and new for 2019 is the company's Fastball knife, specifically designed for the everyday carry market. The Fastball features an intuitive finger flipper opening, an S30V wharncliffe blade and an aircraft-grade aluminum handle.

Available in 3 distinct colors, Urban Grey, Flat Sage and Black, the Fastball was created from the ground up to be a part of your everyday carry,. Equipped with Gerber’s B.O.S.S. Tech ball-bearing system to reduce friction while opening, the Fastball offers quick deployment and smooth “light switch style” activation. The Fastball also has a 3-position pocket clip and lanyard hole which offer multiple ways to securely transport the knife as you go through your everyday routine.

“The Fastball is the perfect EDC knife – aesthetically compelling, functionally flawless, and boasting top-notch materials. A focus on the details, pocket friendliness, and the seamless light switching deployment were front-of-mind throughout the entire development process,” says Karrson Koivisto, Gerber product manager. “The outcome is a knife that operates like, and possesses the materials and craftsmanship of, a $200 knife at a much more accessible price point. The Fastball is a must-have for the gear junkie with high expectations and a discerning eye.”

Built to deliver premium features at an affordable price, the Fastball is an American-made flip-opening knife with all the features you’re looking for in an everyday carry (EDC) knife. Each Gerber Fastball measures 7.1 inches in overall length and is equipped with a 3-inch blade. Total weight of the knife is 2.7 ounces.

The Fastball has an MSRP of $110 for the Urban Grey and Flat Sage models, and an MSRP of $115 for the black model.
